Actress Koo Hye-seon's first painting exhibition “Tango” achieves big success.
There are 10,000 audiences go to “La Mar” gallery located in Seoul to see the painting exhibition during a week (1-7 July). One of the organizers YG Entertainment says there are so many phone calls from audience to ask question about the exhibition that the gallery can’t operate properly. 2,000 audiences are reported to participate in the exhibition on the weekend.
Koo Hye-seon considers the painting exhibition as another opportunity for the public to understand her.
The audience for the painting exhibition shows diversity with fans from other parts of the country, professor and students studying art and office worker near the gallery.
While Koo Hye-seon goes to the gallery every day, many pop stars go to the exhibition as well. Director of YG Entertainment, singer Keomi, 2NE1 and actors from 'Boys Before Flowers' are all part of the audience.
It is said that all the revenue from this exhibition will be used in the charity activity “WITH” held by YG Entertainment.
