KBS 2TV drama 'Detectives in Trouble' hero Song Il-gook is happy to hear good comments about his act as a detective.
Song Il-gook watched the first episode of the drama with the cast, the staff and the production team in the KBS building on the 7th. Later, at an interview, he was asked the question, 'How do you feel after watching the first episode?'. He laughed and said, 'While watching the drama, the detective who actually helped me sent a text saying, 'It's so real, it's amazing. Fighting!' so I felt really good'.
Preparing for his detective character in the drama, Song Il-gook actually went and stayed on duty with the detectives, getting used to the sense of realism. Meanwhile, he also got lots of help talking with them about various things.
Song Il-gook said, 'I was worried the real detectives might say it wasn't realistic watching our drama, but one person said it seemed real so I'm glad'.
Producer Kwon Kye-hong said, 'Song Il-gook is very concerned about reality. He is an actor who carefully researches' and appraised him.
Meanwhile, 'Detectives in Trouble' raised interest and drew the story line of the main characters in the first episode such as Park Se-hyeok (Song Il-gook), Jeong Il-do (Lee Jong-hyuk), Jo Min-joo (Song Ji-hyo) and Nam Tae-sik (Seong Ji-roo). After the broadcast, viewers put up on the bulletin, 'It is the birth of a decent investigative drama', 'I look forward to Song Il-gook's acting change', and 'I couldn't take my eyes off the screen because of the tension'.
